Naperville, IL – Today Nicor Inc. announced the promotion of Dan Dodge to Executive Vice President Diversified Ventures. Dodge also serves as Chairman of Nicor Services, Nicor Solutions, and Nicor Enerchange L.L.C. and brings more than 30 years of business experience to the position.

Dan joined Nicor in 1998 as Vice President of Business Development,and in 2002 he was promoted to Senior Vice President Diversified Ventures and Corporate Planning. During his time with Nicor, Dan has been, and will continue to be, responsible for non-regulated energy affiliates and business development. Prior to joining Nicor, Dodge worked as Vice President Asset Development for MidCon Corporation.

Dodge earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1975 and a Master of Business Administration in 1977 from the University of Illinois. He currently resides in the City of Naperville.
