Q1:
Can I receive repair coverage on a natural gas air conditioner?
A1:

Due to availability of parts, the only coverage we offer on a natural gas air conditioner is a Performance Tune-Up.

Q2:
What is covered under a Performance Tune-Up and repair contract?
A2:

A Performance Tune-Up and repair contract covers one annual Performance Tune-Up for each piece of covered equipment. It also covers any required repairs, subject to the terms and conditions of your contract.

Q3:
How much can a contractor charge for work or parts not covered by my Performance Tune-Up contract?
A3:

Under our Performance Tune-Up plan, parts are not covered. If you agree to have a part installed or additional labor performed that is not covered, you will pay the contractor directly at his current competitive rate.

Q5:
Does my Nicor Services service agreement replace the manufacturer's warranty?
A5:

No. In fact, many manufacturers' warranties require regular preventive maintenance to maintain the original warranty. That is why preventive maintenance is an excellent idea for new furnaces as well as older furnaces.
